Promoter PA

£780.00

Rating: 12kW

This is a one-stop shop for any promoter or event organiser. Featuring a top of the range Pioneer Nexus DJ setup with our 12k Venom Stacked PA system, Sennheiser wireless mics and a pair of RCF Art735 DJ monitors.

The Venom Stacked PA is the flagship system built and used by Audio Venom. The 2 stacks featuring 4 twin 18″ subs capable of handling an eye-watering 3,000 Watts each, powered by a pair of QSC’s most refined amplifer, the PLD4.5 with built-in DSP, combined with the 4 Nexo-breed DXR15 1,100 Watt top speakers, creates a beautifully balanced system with impressive clarity and immense low-end. It’s a popular choice for electronic music events, often out-performing rival systems such as Funktion-One, Martin Audio and TurboSound.

The flexible positioning of the 4 top speakers along with the height adjustable speaker risers opens up the system to a number of formations including wide coverage and long-throw configurations.

The Pioneer Nexus setup with the added RMX1000 FX unit is the number one choice for any DJ taking to the stage. The RCF Art735 speakers are a popular monitoring choice for DJs, offering immense clarity in the frequencies that matter most.

Also includes a control mixer so that the system and microphone levels can be adjusted remotely, removing the need to regularly lean over the DJ and make adjustments on their mixer! Everything is delivered, setup and ready to go!

FAQs

Can I connect my decks/mixer to the system?
Yes, you can either plug your decks into spare channels on the DJM900 mixer, or you can set up another set of decks and mixer and run the feed back to our control mixer. We’ll provide all the cables and adapters and help get you connected. The system also includes an 8-port network switch, so additional Pioneer decks can be linked in this way.

Will the microphone feed come out of the DJ monitors?

By default the mics are fed through a separate control mixer so they don’t come out of the DJ monitors, however we can configure the system either way to your requirements.

How many power sockets are required?
The Promoter PA package ideally requires a single phase 32A socket within 10m of the setup location, but 2 x 16A or 2 x separate 13A power sockets will also be ok.

How long does it take to setup?
It takes about 45 minutes to set up and 30 minutes to pack down.

How far apart can the speakers be?
Generally, the speakers can be around 15m apart without incurring additional setup costs. If you require the speakers to be placed further then please get in touch so we can advise if there will be additional costs.

Is it possible to blow up the speakers?
Yes, the system does have some built-in protection but any system will eventually break if it is abused or driven beyond it’s limit. Both the amplifier and speakers have limit indicators fitted and it is your responsibility to ensure the volume levels are kept within these limits. You will be charged for any blown drivers.

If I hire the equipment overnight will it cost more?
No, our standard rate is based on a 24 hour hire period, with a degree of flexibility to work with your event timings.

Can I collect the equipment from you?
At present we can only offer a delivery service.

Can the equipment be setup outdoors?
If the weather is guaranteed to be calm and dry throughout the hire duration then this is acceptable. Otherwise shelter is required.

Pioneer CDJ2000 Nexus - Available To Hire From Go-DJ

EXTRA CDJ2000 NEXUS – £60

Add more decks for DJs that require 3 or 4 deck mixing. The DJM900 Nexus mixer can support up to 4 decks.

Technics SL1200

TECHNICS SL1200 – £35

The legendary Technics SL1200 turntable with Concorde stylus.

XPRS DJ Booth

STYLISH DJ BOOTHS – Upgrades From £10

The package comes with a “festival-style” LiteDeck DJ stand, but if an alternative looking DJ booth is required then here are some options (subtract £20 if you don’t require the LiteDeck DJ stand):
Starlit in black or white – £30
XPRS silver truss style with white perspex screen – £30
XPRS silver truss style with glowing perspex screen – £50

MC MONITOR/FILL/EXTRA SPEAKER – £35

For MCs: The music can sound very flat when stood on a stage behind the main PA speakers, which means the MCs can’t hear themselves and regulate their voice correctly to the music. A dedicated monitor will help them, this can be placed on a stand, or on the floor as a foldback monitor.
For wide stages: A pair of extra speakers may be necessary to fill the area immediately in front of the stage, as the main stacks are unlikely to sufficiently cover this area if there is a wide gap between them.

SOUND TECHNICIAN – £25/hour

A sound technician will keep an eye on the system throughout the event to ensure sound levels aren’t running into the red and keeping the show running smoothly. Any technical emergency is immediately dealt with, plus you’ll have complete peace of mind knowing that your DJs won’t be blowing up the system! Our sound technician will also help get your DJs connected, and adjust the mic volume for any MCs.
